[These guys were playing in the piazza repubblica as I was rushing to a class.
Of course I had to stop and take a picture]
So I feel like it might be a good time to talk about school.
And classes. I am taking those haha.
Classes cannot be mentioned without also
mentioning running on the cobblestones,
and praying I don't trip as I'm rushing to get to said classes on time.
Living 5 minutes away from the buildings is a blessing and a curse.
But hey, good too know I haven't changed too much over here.
Walking into class sweaty and out of breath.
Still all about that.
International Banking:
I have nothing to say about this class that you would want to read about lol.
Maybe that I'm being taught banking by a young Polish Lawyer.
Makes sense, right?
Beginning Italian:
My teacher is Mr. Bean.
But Mr. Bean in real life.
not from the movie haha.
They look so alike it is uncanny, but it makes me enjoy the class a ton imagining him sticking a turkey on his head.
Okay, enough with the Mr. Bean pictures. I think you get the idea ;)
He's the sweetest man, and he is so patient when we struggle with this difficult language and resort to responding in spanish.
I don't know if I could do it. Power to him.
Intro to Web Design:
I'm re-learning the basics of how to make a website from scratch.
I took the class in high school, but you know, it was high school.
I snuck out to buy more slurpies than I learned about html coding lol.
Marketing Mix:
My teacher is a hilarious little Italian man.
He loves marketing and chocolate.
He organized the huge chocolate fair here in Florence (it's next week!!!) for six years. He gave it up 3 years ago, but you ask him anything about chocolate and he'll know the answer.
Did you know that Italy is one of the only countries in Europe that sells more dark chocolate than milk chocolate.
We will be working with a real start up company in Florence this semester (bike tours) and helping them to market their company.
So that's the academic update of my semester!
L Dawg. Out.

GURL! save me some dark chocolate from italy YUMM :)))
