Treating Her Like a Lady.

Yesterday was Women's Day.
I've never remembered this day being celebrated in the U.S.,
but over here in Italy it is a huge deal.
Today one of my friends got asked by a cashier "how was yesterday?"
She was confused, but realized he was talking about Women's Day.
I had the incredible opportunity to spend Women's Day with two of my favorite Italian women.
Our planned dinner night just happened to fall on this day, and I am so thankful.
They took me to Silvia's [Rosanna's daughter] concert at school.
She plays the flute.
And she plays it pretty dang well.

After she played we headed to a party put on by Rosanna's friend of the Misericordia (a sanitary emergency association).
We walk in to find a room decorated to the nines.
And all to celebrate us women!
All of the men were our waiters.
They were hilarious and so kind.
They even cooked my steak a little longer for me
(Italians like their steak RAW)
The food was phenomenal,
and I had the best lasagna I have ever tasted.
W Le Donne!

Rosanna and I!!
Ambulances forever!! haha :)
